Nathalie Bienfait found out that Patty Heaven on Roman Road only received part of the COVID funding available to businesses. The owners were told that they wouldn’t get the full amount because the business was classified as a bar.
This friendly takeaway on Roman Road serves delicious Caribbean and Jamaican food, and is certainly not a bar! Nathalie contacted the council on behalf of the owners to try to appeal the decision. The local councillor has now taken on this case which will hopefully be resolved soon.
