Get Involved

Please see below a list of our upcoming events, meetings and actions. You can contact us if you want to find out more information before getting involved.

Members’ meetings:

All local members are welcome and encouraged to attend our friendly monthly meetings. We usually have an informal social afterwards.

Regular events:

  • Speed watch every 3rd Saturday 3-4pm – the local Police team has a speed camera which we use to check drivers’ speed and catch those driving over the legal speed limit. Contact us to confirm the meeting location.
  • Monthly litter pick with Friends of Mile End Park – meet locals at the Art Pavilion to pick up some litter and have a coffee afterwards. Check FOMEP website to confirm the dates.
  • Regular leafleting: Delivering leaflets is the single best way to reach potential voters, and we need help delivering 6 newsletters per year to the residents of Bow West. Get involved to meet a friendly bunch of locals and make a difference. New leafleters will always be paired up with a more experienced leafleter, so no prior knowledge is required. Email to get involved.
  • Regular canvassing: We go door-knocking most Wednesday evenings with our Councillor Nathalie Bienfait in Bow West. Email to find out more and get involved.
